Jan.8,15,22 and 29 Noon - 3 – Fly Tying with Conn/ RI Coastal Fly Fishers – Just show up with a vise and tie along some of the best local tiers.

Jan.25, Feb.1 and 8 – Rod Building Classes – “Q” Kresser – Learn the basics of building a rod. Three evenings, reservation and fee required, call shop for details.

Feb 4 – Knot Again – Bill Lentine – One of our most popular seminars last year. We’ll demonstrate how to tie effective knots and test them on the knot testing. Bill will also have a knot tying contest with a prize.

Feb 14 to 21- Bonefish Trip to Acklins Island – Sorry trip is filled, going next winter.

Feb. 25-  Vertical Jigging Strategies – Capt. Jack Sprengel and Shimano-

Capt. Jack will share his experience and expertise. “This isn’t your grandfathers way of jigging”.

.Mar.3– Stripers in the Connecticut River – “Q” Kresser & Pat Abate – We have long believed that this river has a world class spring fishery. Let’s share some of the knowledge..

Mar.24 – Striper Surf Day – 10am – 4pm. Our annual celebration of chasing stripers through the waves.  Speaker is John Skinner, plus factory reps, food, demonstrations and great time with old friends

Mar.31- Carp- Iain Sorrell- Yes we said carp. Want a fish that will weigh and run like a striper and can challenge you like a bonefish. Let Iain open up a new world to you right in your backyard.

Apr.14 – Surfcasting 101 – Pat Abate – Get started in the right direction with a simple approach to fishing and catching with your feet on the ground.

April 28– Saltwater Fly Fishing School – Lou Tabory, “Q” Kresser

A full day of learning the techniques and tricks of saltwater fly fishing both in classroom and on the beach with hands on instruction from experts. Fee is $150 and includes lunch.

May 9 – Rigging EelsPat Abate – An evening of hands on instruction on how to rig  one of the oldest of bass catchers.
